We are looking for single parents wanting to help us with our baking needs.
Why should you bake...
*easy way to get your volunteers hours in (you will receive 2 hrs of time)
* something fun you can do with your kids
* SMO needs bake goods
Currently we are in need for breakfast items for our Financial Peace University students.
these dates for FPU are :
Feb 18- May 19 ( Every Saturday)
Bring them in anytime we will freeze your items,

Come and learn how to make paper beads. It is a fun craft and really easy. Bring your old magazines, scissors (please mark them with your name and clear nail polish that you are not using)- no skills required. If your children can make paper beads they are welcome to join us. If you would like to bring a snack to share please do that as well.
We will also be offering a movie in the kitchen for any child that wants to watch a movie.

You do not need to bring any supplies just a snack to share
Babysitting will be offered for kids that can watch a movie in our kitchen or entertain themselves

SMO will be having a Book Swap. This will be happening at the same time as Shop the Closet.
We will be swapping kids and adult books (please do not bring inappropriate adult books).
Example:If you bring 8 books you will be allowed to get 8 new books. If you bring 5 books you will be allowed to get 5 new books. Kids and adults books are welcome.
This is a great way to get new free books, encourage reading and have fun

This is a great opportunity offered by SMO. Gail Eisenberg will be teaching you the basics of Word and Excel (an hour of each). You will learn through hands on experience.
Why should you take this course...
*vital for getting a new job
*great skill to have
*It is during the day so you do not need to worry about babysitting
The course is 6 weeks long. Babsitting will not be offered for this program.
The cost of this program is $50.00 for six weeks. (great price for all the information you will learn)
