There are several ways you can make an investment in the work of Single Mothers Outreach.

Join Operation Good Samaritan

Single Mothers Outreach is looking for a few good samaritans to help meet the specific needs of parents in our program.

Members of Operation Good Samaritan are emailed, notifying them of a parent's situation and what they can do to help. Some of the kinds of requests are:

  • sponsor a child on a sports team
  • pay an overdue utility bill
  • provide a service to a parent

If you would like to join Operation Good Samaritan, simply join our mailing list.

Monthly - President's Circle

The President's Circle is a special group of loyal donors who make monthly gifts to support SMO. No amount is too small to become part of the President's Circle. Donations can be charged to a debit or credit card. Simply click on button below to set up a secure recurring donation:

In addition to helping support SMO, President's Circle members receive special updates that their gifts have made possible, a subscription to our quarterly newsletter and an annual statement for year-end tax preparations. You can change or cancel your membership at anytime.

Donate a Memorial or Honor Someone

Many individuals choose to make a donation as a memorial or in honor of a family member or friend who may be getting married or celebrating a special birthday or anniversary.
If you would like to make a donation to SMO in honor or in memory of someone please contact DaAnne Smith at 661.288.0117.

Donate When You Shop

Click here to discover easy ways to raise money for Single Mothers Outreach when you grocery shop or shop around town or on the internet.

Donate items

    Clothing: we accept clothing every Tuesday through Thursday from 9:00-5:00 at our office.

    Furniture, appliances: please email a description of the item(s) you wish to donate to our parents and we will put it on our online bulletin board. Include a description and a picture, if possible as well as contact information and email us at info@singlemothersoutreach.org.

    Cars: we accept cars in good working condition to give to parents in our program. Read the article titled Top-Dollar Deductions for Donating Vehicles by Hedman Partners for tax benefits of donating vehicles to Single Mothers Outreach.
