Adopt a Family for the Holidays

Make a joyful holiday season for single parent families in the Santa Clarita Valley.

Single Mothers Outreach (SMO) is planning its annual community Adopt-a-Family

Holiday Program. Single parent families selected to participate in the holiday program are those who are enrolled in school and parents who are actively participating in life skills and growth programs provided by SMO. Last year over 200 families were adopted in the Santa Clarita Valley.

“Our residents have been so generous in past years,” said DaAnne Smith, Executive Director. “We see groups of friends that band together to adopt a family, as well as churches, synagogues, organizations and many families.”

Those interested in adopting a deserving single-parent family are asked to fill out a brief form or call Single Mothers Outreach at 661-200-0742. When leaving a message, be sure to include your contact name, phone number and the maximum family size for adoption.
